Installation for U8-120/
U8-120-1600/ U8-92/ U8-92-1900

Note that the following parts are the same
and shared by all mechanisms:

Step 1.
Install the back support board and screw mounting support
bar on the main board as the left photo shows.
For P4 478/ LGA 775
Find the right back support board and screw mounting support
bar for each mechanism. The screw mounting support bar for
P4 478 is with lower height than that of LGA775. Install the
back support board ( under the main board ) and the screw
mounting support bar ( above the main board ) by tightening
the 4 small screws.
| Caution: remember to put
4 washers between the screw mounting support bar and the
main board. |
For AMD K8
The screw mounting support bar is not needed, just place the
back support board under the main board.

For AMD K8, please applies the same procedure ( the
heat sink support plate is different ).

Step 2.
Install the heat sink support plate Place the heat sink support
plate ( the plate for P4 478/ LGA 775 is the same ) above
the heat sink copper base. Using 4 small screws to tighten firmly
the support plate on the copper base from under the base. |

Step 3.
Install the heat sink on the processor Remember
to apply thermal grease on the processor. Install
the heat sink on the processor by tightening the screw/ spring
sets until the screw thread reach its end. The longest ( black
) screws are for
AMD K8, the shortest are for LGA775, in between are for P4 478.
The springs are the same. |

Step 4.
Install the fan on the heat sink
Before installing the fan, stick the 2 anti- vibration strip
on the heat sink.
Using 2 steel wire to install the fan as the photo shows.

Step 5.
Plug the fan connector to main board
or PSU socket
For U8-120-1600 and U8-92-1900, plug the fan connector to the
speed adjuster cable and then connect to main board or PSU socket
( by 3-4 pin converter cable ) |

Step 6.
If a PCI bracket is included in the package, please install
the speed adjustable resistor on the PCI bracket, install the
PCI bracket to the case,and then the aluminum knob from outside
the case. |
