For professionals to know why U8-92 heat sink performs so well

Starting from the material of the heat sink base to the number, shape and arrangement of heat pipe, the material, size and shape of fins; the way of combining all these components; the direction of air flow, the team has only one goal in mind; i.e., to come out the heat sink with real power.

Copper Base
For better heat conductivity, copper is applied to be the base although knowing that the material brings unwanted weight .
4 U-shaped heat pipes
To make the best application of heat pipes, U-shaped is adopted. Except the necessary bending to meet the frame-work, the heat pipes are arranged as less bending as possible ( more bending-less heat transfer efficiency ). The 4 U-shaped heat pipes form 8 contact area with the fins for the most efficient heat conductivity and dissipation.
Big heat dissipation surface aluminum fins
Aluminum fins allow a heat sink to work more efficiently than that of copper in very silent working environment ( where usually a silent fan with low rotation speed and air flow is applied ), so aluminum is chosen to be the material. The size and number of fins create big heat dissipation surface which enables silent fans to do the heat dissipation job at east.
The way of combining all the components
Soldering ( contains no toxic material ) is applied to ensure all the components with effective contact.
The direction of air flow
