The main purpose of using case fans is to
help air circulation inside a computer case ( cool air
in/ hot air out ) so as to maintain system stability.
If quiet fans can handle the job, choose them because
noise creates stress and work inefficiency. |

If certain quiet fans do better job in
making air circulation and work longer, choose them. Some
quiet fans are designed with low quality bearing system
( although with fancy or hi-tech terms to name the system
) for the sake of cost-down or low noise level. Not to
pick up these fans because low quality bearing system
causes short working life span. |

In installation of a case fan, be aware
not to leave any gap between the case fan and computer
case ( in many cases, the gap is caused by using silicon
or rubber anti-vibration stick or mount ). The gap reduces
air circulation efficiency ( in case of exhaust fan, a
big portion of air is just blown inside the computer case
w/o escaping from it. |
